Inter-library loans - students: Inter-library loans

About student inter-library loans for books or journal articles not owned by the Library

If you need to fill a gap in your research and the library doesn’t own the item you need, we will try to borrow (or get access to part of) that all-important book or journal article just for you!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many university libraries are not lending print books to other libraries as inter-library loans - so this service may be more restricted than usual. For example, we may be able to get a book chapter rather than the whole book.

Each academic year you can make the following number of requests free of charge using our Inter-library loans service:
