Inter-library loans

If you’re looking to fill a gap in your research and the Library doesn’t own that all-important book or journal article, our inter-library loans service can help you to access what you need. We work with libraries across the UK, and beyond, to source physical items for loan, such as books, and to obtain digital copies of chapters and articles that you can download and keep.

Our inter-library loans procedure has recently changed. Head over to our new guide to see what you can request and how to do it using Library Search.

SCONUL Access

Newman University Library is a proud member of the SCONUL Access Scheme, which gives members the opportunity to join the libraries of other universities and similar institutions who are also members of the scheme in the UK and Ireland.

We have pages for Staff and Students that explain more about SCONUL Access and how you, as members of the Newman community, can join the scheme.
