Newman University Library

Welcome to Newman University Library

We are located in the St. Chad building, off the main atrium. The Library is accessible from level 1 (the same level as the main Univeristy reception). You can access all levels of the Library using a lift located next to the main stairs.

We offer an extensive collection of printed books, journals, artefacts and multimedia materials for use by our members. We also manage and make available millions of digital resources that are available online to our registered students and staff.

Getting started in the Library

If you are new to Newman Library, or even just want a refresher on the main Library systems, you will find video guides and demonstrations, as well as helpsheets, on our Library Induction pages.

Library Search is your gateway to discovering these resources. You can access Library Search from the Library homepage. For information about other services and facilities the Library offers, please use the menu on the left-hand side.

Policies and Regulations

By using Newman University Library, you agree to follow the rules we have in place for our different services and facilities. You can find these, and other information about how we run our services on our Policies and Regulations pages.
