Students at these partner institutions, may access some, but not all, of our e-resource collections. Click on the panel underneath your institution below to see which specific resources are available to you. Where required, our Academic Service Librarians work alongside tutors from partner institutions to provide training and support of our resources. If you need help accessing our e-resources, please contact your home institution in the first instance.
The availability of our e-resources to partner institutions is controlled by the agreements that we have with our content providers. Unfortunately, we have very limited power to negotiate further access. You can see the full licence terms for most of our digital collections on the E-resources licences page of our Policies and Rules guide.
The services we can offer to partnership students vary depending on the nature of the partnership and the resources required. If you're planning a partnership arrangement you need to put a proposal to the Collaborative Strategy Committee. If you anticipate offering library access as part of the arrangement, you will need to be explicit about this in your proposal documents and you should talk to your Academic Service Librarian in the first instance.
If your proposal is accepted in principle by the Committee, we will need to explore with publishers whether providing resources to these students is possible, and whether any costs would be involved. We carry out a review of partner access once a year, so if access arrangements are possible, access would take effect from the beginning of the following academic year.
